This listing is for one unit - Two units are needed for a master-sub combination.
It can work with one unit alone but two would be best for efficient operation.

Perfect for the right use
I set this up in an outdoor shed with a solar panel. I wanted a filtered ventilation option for my studio shed without paying for a full blown ac/heating unit. The heat recovery and "free cooling" options are nice bonuses for lower energy temp control though it has its limits. The system is very quiet in the lowest speed but not distracting even on high. It seems like the free cooling mode will only pull in air cooler than the set temperature which makes sense unless it's cooling down at night and the outside is cooler than the inside even if not as cool as the set temp. Installing was a bit of a pain as it was tricky cutting out a good 6 3/4 inch hole. Also the pictures don't show any power cables so note normally you'd have to have the power running down the wall. Fortunately I'm doing a new build and could include a nearby plug to keep the look cleaner. The thickness for a standard US wall is too much, and I would have liked an insert pre-built for the unit to better attach to the interior wall. You can see in my picture how I couldn't keep it flush to the inside wall AND the outside wall and this is a 6 inch wall. At some point I guess I'll have to build something to attach the unit to. Overall, however, despite some quirks this was a really good ventilation option for my shed. The filtration is good and it seems easy to maintain, and the app and the remote work fine. It'll be interesting to see how well it keeps the heat in when we get to winter.
